US Grade Kindergarten - 4
During our week together, we will focus on the specific needs of the learner. Activities for younger readers can include letter recognition exercises, practicing letter sounds, reading CVC words, sight words, phrases and sentences. Activities for older readers can include reading short passages and stories, answering comprehension questions, practicing summarizing a story and short writing activities. Game time to review the lesson will be included if time permits. Adjustments will be made according to the learner's needs and level. Optional: students can bring a white board and dry erase marker or paper and pencil to class.
