Description

Class Experience

Students will practice speaking clearly, use voice projection, proper posture and intonation. They will practice listening patiently, asking questions and how to politely comment on others' presentations. Students will also practice their letter recognition and phonics skills to increase reading fluency.
Students should choose the item they want to share prior to class meeting time and practice what they want to say at least once in front of family members to prepare for class.
Students should bring ONE item to share that begins with the letter of the week. Students should also bring a white board and marker or pencil and paper to practice writing the letter of the week and words we will practice in class.
25 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
