This class will help learners learn letters to sounds correspondence,read simple to complex words based on aged love to read. Example student will learn to say sounds to letters, then build simple words with letters such cat, dog, put, big, bat, fat, and more. This is all part of blending and decoding skills. This will eventually lead students to reading while building their comprehension skills and assist with vocabulary words. Students will read teacher created passages based on the vocabulary words from the lesson. Students are not required to have any prior knowledge. Beginning Learners are welcomed. Any student who enters at any part of the the week will not be lost in the content, due to every day the same skill will be repeated and taught with with fidelity. Example, If we learn alphabet letter A on Monday and a new student enters on Tuesday, Letter A will be taught from Monday and Letter B added, so student will be caught up on Mondays lesson skill. Wednesday, Letter A and B retaught and then Letter C added. This will be the same for all skills taught each day. So if a student is absent or comes late. They will not miss out on any learned activities for the week or day. Students will have share thoughts on learning objective/talk time with me and other classmates. I will teach through Powerpoints. Week 1 July 31, 20203: Alphabet Phonics, Week 2 August 7, 2023: More alphabet phonics, Short Vowels, Vocabulary, Week 3 August 14, 2023: More Alphabet Phonics, More Short Vowel, Vocabulary, Sentences( Vocabulary Words Language Foundations) Week 4 August 21st, 2023: More Alphabet Phonics, More Short Vowels, Long Vowels( if students are ready), Vocabulary, Sentence with use of learned Vocabulary words to help with Reading Skills.

Parental Guidance
I would like to use Nearpod for some of the lesson. I may give homework through SeeSaw. The student will log in with first initial only. Please go to Nearpod.com and Seesaw.com and read about both. Nearpod is a very interactive platform that allows me to see their work in real time. Seesaw is the same. There is no bad content. It has been written by teachers and educators. There is no account needed by your student. I will provide a safe link and code to them during the lesson. This is no cost to students nor parents.
