Description

Class Experience

Included in this class will be activities based on the Fundations approach to teaching phonics. Fundations is aligned with Orton-Gillingham principles. I have been trained in and have been using Fundations in my own 1st and 2nd grade classrooms for 15 years.  We will begin with reviewing sounds and keywords from 1st grade Fundations.    We will cover the skills as they are introduced in the Fundations scope and sequence. Class 1 includes reviewing letter sounds and keywords, closed syllables...

A board/marker or paper/pencil.

1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
