During this four week class, students will practice blending, spelling, and reading words with L, R, and S initial letter blends. Students should know the letters of the alphabet and their sounds prior to taking this class. These classes are for students beginning to read and for students needing extra support. I have a Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Elementary Education. I am certified to teach grades Kindergarten through sixth in all subject areas. I have completed LETRS training (Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling). I have twenty-two years of teaching experience. I have also taught online ESL for over three years. I absolutely love teaching and watching my students learn.

3 files available upon enrollmentStudents will need to write during each class. Students should have paper and pencil (or dry erase board and marker). Students should also have letter tiles for each class. You do not need to buy anything. You can write the letters on sticky notes, note cards, or cut up a sheet of paper. Write one letter on each tile. I will attach an example in the welcome post. I will let you know before class what letters you will need for that class.
