US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - Kindergarten
This class is intended to teach learners how to reinforce uppercase and lower case letters while introducing them to the letter sounds. These skills are needed to build a solid foundation in preparation for reading. Letters and letter sounds will be taught through songs, videos, games and activities. Every class will follow the same outline. We will begin with the alphabet song. We will review the letters and picture cards. We will watch videos that relate to the letters of that class. I...
I am certified to teach children for grades K-12. I have been working in education for many years and have seen students gain success with interactive programs. Also, for over a year I have been working as an online ESL teacher, teaching children ages 4 and older how to speak English. It is my knowledge, skill set, and love of learning that would make me a great educator for your child.
All materials that will be used will be sent to the classroom to be printed out. Phonics videos and games will be watched online.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Students should have some knowledge of the alphabet (not required, just beneficial). Also, since these are learners that are younger, parental support may be needed in the classroom.
