Class Experience
In this semester course, students will learn a new phonics pattern. This is the 2nd part to Phonics Rules! The first week, we will review previous phonics patterns. The second week we will focus on digraphs. The third week we will focus on diphthongs. The fourth week we will focus on vowel teams. The fifth week will focus on silent letters. The sixth week will focus on l blends and r blends. The seventh week will focus on the s blends. The last week will focus on reviewing patterns and rules...
Students will improve their knowledge of phonics rules and patterns.
I have taught kindergarten and 1st grade for five years. I love teaching this subject and would love to teach your learner.
Students are expected to complete the phonics assignment by Thursday each week.
For most meetings, the learner will need something to write with and something to write on. On Wednesdays and Thursdays, students will need crayons, pencil, and paper. If students need an additional resource, it will be posted in the classroom.
Learners and teachers will review assignments together and go over mistakes made.
2 hours per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
