💥 This class can help you keep up or get ahead! It is designed for students who know their alphabet letters/sounds and are able to read CVC (consonant-vowel-consonant) one-syllable words.

Supply List

Students will need a pencil and paper or a whiteboard and marker to jot down their words and practice their new skills! 📝🎉 Get ready to write, erase, and repeat as we unlock the magic of reading and writing together! 🚀📚

Hello! I’m Erika, a proud mom to 4 wonderful daughters and a playful little dog named Sugar. 🐾 I’ve been a primary school teacher in Canada for 19 years and I’m certified by the Ontario College of Teachers with a Bachelor of Education degree. 🎓

Since 2021, I’ve been a parent on Outschool, and since 2024, I’ve had the privilege of teaching here as well. I specialize in Early Years Kindergarten Instruction, with additional qualifications in special education and behavioral sciences. Recently, I completed training in Structured Literacy, a method that’s been incredible for helping students overcome reading challenges! 📚
