This multi-day class is for early learners to begin forming a foundation to read by sounding out and recognizing short vowel words. In this multi-day class, we will focus on recognizing words, sounding out words, writing words and putting short vowel words into sentences. We will practice using words in sentences orally and by writing simple sentences with the words we learn. Each session we will focus on a different short vowel (a,e,i,o,u) and in our final session we will work on words...
Students will learn and apply skills to sound out and decode words.
Students will need: something to write with
something to write on
(dry erase board, marker and eraser would be great because we will be writing multiple words and sentences)Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
