Class Experience
Class Experience Students will learn and practice letter names and sounds (phonics), word blends and animal names for animals such as: monkey, giraffe, hippo, elephant, zebra, and lion. (If time allows we will add various other animals such as: rhino, ostrich, gorilla, warthog, etc.) Props, flashcards, 2D images and letters will all be used throughout the class to help students engage and learn. Students will grow in their reading and communication skills as they improve their knowledge of letter names and sounds, ability to blend words, and word recognition as they learn and practice the names of fun, farm animals.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
