In this class we will use your child's knowledge of letters and their sounds to help them read and write! We will primarily focus on reading and spelling long vowel, Magic E (Silent E, CVCe/VCe) words in this class through fun and engaging activities such as phonics bingo, picture/word sorts, reading decodable texts, and other literacy activities and games! I am a certified teacher and have been teaching for 18 years. I am a reading specialist and have been trained in a variety of classes including the Orton-Gillingham approach.
Your child should have a dry erase board and marker available during class. Paper and markers is also fine.
