Description

Class Experience

In this ongoing class that meets 1x a week (Thursdays for now), your child will work on short and long vowel words in a variety of ways. We will sing songs, trace short vowel or long vowel words, color pictures, do word search puzzles, fill in the blank worksheets, and make letters with play-dough to form words that go with the pictures on the worksheet. There will be a worksheet that will need to be printed for each class. The pdf file can be found in the classroom under the weekly comment...

This class is taught in English.

I have my bachelor's degree in music education and my master's degree in elementary education. I have taught young children in the public and private schools for many years and I love to use music and reading to make learning fun!

Your child will need play-dough for these classes. They also need to bring a pencil, colored pencils, crayons, and/or markers to class. Please print the pdf file that can be found in the classroom under the comments each week so your child will be able to trace the letters, as well as color the pictures during each class.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

Play-dough may contain wheat, which could cause an allergic reaction if ingested in those sensitive to wheat gluten or with Celiac disease.
