Intermediate Level
This is a 30 minute class for intermediate readers, the child knows their sounds and can phonetically read. The class begins by assessing where each child is with their knowledge of phonetic spelling and reading skills. From here we will learn blends of two to three sounds, long vowels and some digraphs. Children learn best in repetition of threes, meaning I'll teach each lesson and review each session from the material the class before. I believe in following the child's mastery level and not moving on until the child is confident in their learning. My lessons are Montessori inspired!

over 8 WeeksLesson 1:
Introduction
The first class is to see where each child is academically, what do they know and not know. I start with blends and long vowels. 30 mins online live lesson
Lesson 2:
Blends & Long Vowel "a"
This lesson is focused on phonetic blend words and long vowel "a" words. 30 mins online live lesson
Lesson 3:
Blends & Long Vowel "i"
This lesson will begin with a review of last week's material followed by a lesson on long vowel "i" words. 30 mins online live lesson
Lesson 4:
Review of Blends & Long Vowel "a" & "i"
This lesson will be focused on repetition of the past lessons for mastery. 30 mins online live lesson

Learning Needs
This class is intentionally designed to support learning needs such as ADHD, Dyslexia and dysgraphia.
Pre-Requisites
Optional* This class is for children who can phonetically read and are ready to advance their reading and spelling patterns. My Phonic Fun class is for beginner readers.

Color pencils, pencil and paper.
