In this ongoing class that meets 1x a week, students will listen to a Curious George, Bernstein Bears, Paw Patrol, or Pete the Cat story with short or long vowel words, sing songs, trace short vowel or long vowel words, color pictures, and make letters with play-dough to form words. I have my bachelor's degree in music education and my master's degree in elementary education. I have taught young children in the public and private schools for many years, as well as online for the past 6 years. I love to combine music and reading to make learning fun!
Students will need play-dough for these classes. They also need to bring a pencil, colored pencils, crayons, and/or markers to class. Please print the pdf file that can be found in the classroom under the comments each week so your child will be able to trace the letters, as well as color the pictures during each class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Play-dough may contain wheat, which could cause an allergic reaction if ingested in those sensitive to wheat gluten or with Celiac disease.
