In this ongoing class, young readers will gain knowledge and confidence as they reach beyond CVC and CVC-e to add consonant blends and common digraphs to their skill set.
An after-class worksheet will be provided to solidify what the students learned in class. Also, remember that your child can re-watch the class recording in the classroom for further practice.
A simple, one-page worksheet will be attached on the main classroom page just prior to class. You should hold off on giving this to your child until after class as they can be a distraction during class. The worksheet can be used after class to reinforce the day's concept.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students will be continually encouraged during class.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
