Description
Class Experience
Students will improve basic reading skills and sight word recognition.
I have a master’s degree plus 30. I am certified in elementary education, early childhood education, special education, learning disabilities and Primary Montessori. I have the literacy endorsement and I have also been the Literacy Teacher of the Year and Teacher of the Year. I am trained in Project Read.
Magnetic letters (preferably lower case) Sand tray Pencil Paper
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
I will observe the student to see if he/she is using the correct letter sounds and if he/she is able to recognize the basic sight words.
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 4+ hours per week outside of class.
