Description
Class Experience
The students will learn the beginning sounds of each letter of the alphabet. Once the student grasps the alphabet and knows the sound each letter represents, they will continue on to blend these letter-sound pairings together to read a word.
I have a Master's Degree in Elementary Education (Teaching and Learning). I have over 10 years experience in the classroom teaching children from grades Pre-K through 8th. I am not only a teacher but a learner. As a learner I am always looking for new and exciting ways to make education fun for all my students.
There will be no homework.
You will need the following materials for this class: *internet connection *computer/IPAD/Tablet
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
The learner will be assessed by an informal assessment. I will monitor the students throughout the class.
1 hour per week in class, and no time outside of class.
