As a whole group class, we will look at the different phonics skills each week.  We will read words pertaining to the class skill and locate skill words in sentences.  Students will think of examples of words using the specific focus skill and work to spell words using the phonics rule. To review our phonics skills, we will play a game.  By the end of class, students will have a working knowledge of the skills in both reading and writing.
