Phonics: Blending CVC Words for Beginning Readers

In this ongoing class, the student will practice beginning reading skills with CVC words. Each class will focus on a word family like "at" "ap" "et" etc.  We will blend the words, sound out the words and write the words. We will do this with a variety of games, interactions and visual aides. 

Is your child ready for this class? Once your child can identity what sound a letter makes, they are ready to start blending letters together to make words. If they get confused with the letter name and the letter sound, check out some of my other classes where we practice the sounds letters make. 

* These lessons do not build upon each other, so  your child can join at any time! If your child is struggling with a certain vowel sound, you can join those classes.
