In this class, we will focus on consonant-vowel-consonants, silent e, and other phonics generalizations and spelling with fun themes, games, and scavenger hunts. No prior knowledge is needed and students may join the class at any time.

In this class, students will practice reading CVC words through games, themed slide shows, and scavenger hunts. Students are welcome to join the class at any time and sign up for multiple sections each week. Regardless of current ability level with phonics, all students will be encouraged and supported to ensure a feeling of success. I am a licensed teacher and literacy specialist with over 20 years of experience. I use research-based methods to teach phonics while making it fun for the learner.
