Homework
1-2 hours per week. While weekly homework assignments are not mandatory, I do provide optional worksheets for additional practice at home. Additionally, creating and reviewing flashcards on a weekly basis is highly recommended to reinforce learning.Assessment
Periodic Check-Ins: Throughout the course, I will conduct informal assessments during class to gauge each student's understanding of the material. Progress Reports: I will provide follow-up communication to parents with detailed progress reports. Frequency and Format: Assessments will be conducted periodically, typically every few weeks, to ensure consistent monitoring of progress. All assessments will be conducted during class time to keep the experience stress-free and integrated into the learning process. There will be no take-home assignments or formal tests. Requirement: While formal assessments are not required for all students, periodic check-ins are an essential part of our learning process. These informal assessments help tailor instruction to meet each student's needs. Our goal is to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel confident in their abilities and excited about learning. Pre-Requisites
This introductory class does not require any previous classes or specific skills. However, it is beneficial if students can recognize and name most of the letters in the alphabet, as this will help them engage more easily with the material.
