Description

Class Experience

In this course students will learn how to sound out the letters, blend sounds, spell and read the words in English.

In this group course we are focused on learning how to sound out each letter of the alphabet, spell and eventually read simple CVC (consonant-vowel-consonant) words in English. 

This course covers:
- learning each letter sound
- writing the letters
- segmenting (separating letters)
- blending (putting the letters together)

This class is taught in English.

Speaking English accurately and fluently with proper error correction through repetition and games. The goal is to encourage speaking and boost students' confidence so that they can eventually speak independently. TPR, props, error correction are used throughout the lessons.

Bachelor's Degree in General Linguistics
ESL Certificate (120 Hour Certificate in TEFL with TEYL accredited by Awarding Language Acquisition for Professionals)
10 years teaching experience (offline and online)

Digital or printable assignments will be given to students occasionally.
Every class is followed by a feedback report of what was taught and areas to improve.

Learners will have access to curriculum during the course and will be given homework/assignments occasionally

Feedback report provided after each class
Certificate will be issued upon the completion of the course

50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
