*phonic blends using "-at" and onset letters "c, b, m, h, s, p" and "r" *to read CVC words "cat, rat, mat, sat, bat, Pat" and "hat" *to recognize pictures that match the words *interaction with a small group
I have been teaching English as a second language online for the past year and a half to young learners on an individual basis. I am a mother and a grandmother, a retired university and community college teacher. I adore my youngest students and being a part of their English learning experience.
Homework is optional but generally provided in the classroom. ***Handouts for use in class will also be attached in the announcements section of the class.*** If the handout is specified for use in class, please print it out for your student to complete during the class. Thank you! If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know.
Depending on the class handout activity, students will most often need a pencil or crayon and perhaps a glue stick, Please check the handout and directions for your child's section.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
