I am a successful Outschool teacher with proven methods for success. I am a certified teacher with 15+ years of teaching in the public, private, homeschool, university model, online, or private tutoring sector. I have a BA in Business Communications, a writing minor, a teacher's certification from Alverno College and have been Charlotte Mason trained at Ambleside University. I have a proven dynamic teaching style and animated approach to teaching and learning. In addition, I'm passionate about meeting socio-emotional needs and have since become involved as a workshop facilitator and board member of the Gals On The Go Project which provides prevention and resiliency workshops to kids through engaging activities, games, role-playing, crafts, and socratic group discussions. I love to combine my knowledge and help students develop real-life skills for their future. I was a sales representative and a call center manager with a lot of opportunities to speak in small and large settings.
