Each week students will have the opportunity to show off their pets, talk about them, and learn new and interesting facts about them. I will model public speaking, presentation skills, and social skills while introducing students to my cats

Beginner - Advanced Level
Each class students will have the opportunity to introduce themselves and their pet. Students who come to class without a pet may introduce a beloved stuffed animal pet or talk about the pet. They might like to have in the future. I will introduce my adorable cats, shadow and fire kitten. Class will be student lead, students will share stories and pictures as they feel comfortable. I will share fun facts and stories about the types of pets as well. Week 1: Introductions. And fun facts. Week two: What your pet means to you. Week three: Food and treats, what does your pet like to eat? Week four: tricks, can your pet do tricks? Week five: Grab bag/student choice
Learning Goals
Students will learn about different types of pets, how they are cared for, what they eat, what is special about them. Will practice public speaking, presentation skills, social skills.
Other Details
Pre-Requisites
It is NOT required that students have a pet. They can also bring a beloved stuffed animal pet or just come to meet other pets.
