Class Experience
Welcome to Ms. Abby's Pete The Cat Summer Camp Part Two! This class will meet for one week, for 4 days, 30 minutes each day. Are you a fan of Pete The Cat? This is the perfect class for you. Each day, we will read a new Pete The Cat book. Once we have finished the book, we will do an activity in each class. Day One: Shoe Box or something to make a Robot Crayons or Markers Supplies to decorate the robot Google Eyes Paper Crayons or Markers Day Two: Editable Go Kart Fruit Crackers Cheese Tooth Picks Marshmallows Please note learns can pick what they want to make their go kart with. Please feel free to substitute items if you prefer Paper Crayons or Markers Day Three: Pete the Cat Science Fair You need lemon for each Volcano, Baking soda Vinegar Food coloring Spoon Dish soap Paper Crayons or Markers Day Four: Pete the Cat at the Beach Different colors of sand Empty water bottle Funnel to use to put sand in the water bottle Small rocks or sea shells Paper Crayons or Markers
Please note that we will be using supplies that may need to be prepared before class. Additionally, I will give each learner an opportunity to read the story with Ms. Abby. The books we will be reading are listed below. Parents, please note that you are not required to buy the books. Parents, please also note that we may use kitchen utensils, so kindly stay close in case assistance is needed to help the learners. Moreover, be aware that some learners may have allergies. Feel free to inform us about any allergies and we will make the necessary adjustments for safety (such as avoiding nuts, wheat, dairy, and eggs).
