Let's listen to a silly story about a cat named Pete! Following the story, children will create their own delicious snack using all of Pete's favorite ingredients. We will interact with a story retelling, a game, and a discussion of the social lessons that we can learn from Pete. All children are invited to participate to the level that they feel comfortable. Children do not need to have read the story to join the class. I believe children learn best when they feel included and welcome. I am excited to have your child in my class!

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hi! I am excited and ready to be your Outschool teacher! A little bit about me:
1. I have been an elementary classroom teacher for the past 20 years. I love learning as much as I love teaching. I have a Master's Degree in Education as well as an Early Childhood Endorsement.
2. Learning should be fun, hands-on, and exciting. I absolutely love making genuine connections with my students. I enjoy reading, math, and history.
3. I am the mother of 4 children. My youngest 2 children have been taking lots of amazing Outschool classes, which is what originally got me excited to be an Outschool teacher myself!
4. An amazing day for me would be a trip to Barnes and Noble and Starbucks with my children...or maybe even by myself. :)
5. I am ready to have your child in my classroom.
