Class Experience

Learners will get to know one another through a spirited greeting ritual, everyone warmly acknowledged by name. Now settled in, we will read Eric Litwin's beloved picture book Pete the Cat. Learners will have the opportunity to contribute their thoughts and feelings throughout storytime. Completing our time together, learners will use found objects to stamp a picture of anything they like from the story: Pete himself, his famed buttons, or perhaps something holiday related. Anything disposable can be used as a stamp, from toilet paper tubes to cotton balls to fruits or vegetables.
