As New York Times describes Pete the Cat Saves Christmas, "Spend the holidays with your favorite blue cat! In this rockin' spin on the traditional tale The Night Before Christmas, Pete the Cat proves that giving your all in the spirit of Christmas is the totally groovy thing to do." In this class, we will read a fun Pete the Cat book about how he helps Santa with his Christmas tasks when he gets sick. Pete learns that he has to "give it his all" in the spirit of helping others! Then we will create our own story book putting the pages in order, which practices story sequencing. Lastly, if there's time, we will complete a fun color by numbers page! If there's not enough time to complete this coloring page, this is a fun activity to complete after class too! *Religious views about the Christmas holiday will NOT be discussed in this class. This class is about Pete the Cat helping Santa deliver presents and helping others. We will focus on story sequencing and having fun reading a story together! Learner will be supplied with 4 pages to print and bring to class. You can find these in the Classroom tab once you enroll in class. You will also need: - Scissors (If your child cannot cut or needs additional time to cut, you can help them with this prior to class time) - Stapler (Your child may need your assistance with this) - Crayons/Markers/Colored Pencils
