Description

Class Experience

We will begin this session with a read aloud of "Pete the Cat and the Perfect Pizza Party" by Kimberly & James Dean. After our read aloud, students will be guided through a step-by-step directed drawing of "Pete", the main character of the story. Once Pete has been completed, students will watercolor paint their project. During the watercolor painting portion of the lesson, students will be provided the instruction to utilize different painting techniques while being encouraged to add their...

A paint brush
Paper towel 
Oil pastels or crayons
White watercolor paper - Preferable but not required :) or thick white paper
