- Students will listen to a story, discuss story details, and make connections to their personal experiences - Students will be creative and make their own pair of sunglasses - Students will use listening skills and practice taking turns speaking
I have been a teacher for 12 years, I owned a dance studio, and I have my Masters in Education so teaching students is my life! I have 3 little boys and 1 daughter who love to create with Legos, playing Monster trucks, reading stories, and making crafts! We love to use our imagination and be creative with all topics!
1 file available upon enrollment**Supplies are NOT required for class, these are just fun materials to go along with the story* - Printer to print 2-3 pages for class. - Scissors/stapler/tape/glue to put sunglasses together on your child - If you are going for quick and simple - crayons/colored pencils/markers are fine! - If you want to make something a little craftier, you can use anything to decorate! Whatever you have works, such as fruit loops, marshmallows, cotton balls, pom poms, glitter, sequin, pipe cleaners, construction papers, stickers, etc. feel free! (Don't forget the glue or tape depending on your supplies) *No set requirements, just anything you have on hand is fine. :-)
Your child may need assistance with Mute/Unmute functions, using glue/tape/stapler/scissors (depending on your supplies), as well as understanding how to play BINGO.
We will use Harper Collins' Pete the Cat book as well as Purple Ladybug Novelty's sunglasses template.
