If your little one loves animals as much as I do then come show me! I love meeting animals. I have four dogs and two horses that your child will meet in the classroom. Then we will take turns introducing and telling the class something special about your pet. Your child does not need a pet to attend this class. They are welcome to come see and meet pets of other students as well as my own. In this class your child will learn how to speak infront of others, waiting their turn to speak, and asking questions in a polite way. It has been proven that speaking infront of others helps children gain confidence in themselves. So come join us for a fun filled class of learning about pets.
Learning Goals
During this class students will learn:
-how to speak infront of an audience
-how to wait their turn to speak
-to ask questions in a polite way in a classroom setting
-to gain confidence in themselves

Teacher expertise and credentials
Florida Teaching Certificate in Foreign Language
My name is Amanda Feole. I am a High School American Sign Language Teacher in Florida. I've been teaching since 2008 and working in the education field since 2001.
I have a Bachelor Degree in Education K-6 from the University of West Florida.
I’m a certified teacher in the state of Florida and currently hold certifications in:
1. Deaf/ Hard of Hearing K-12
2. ASL Endorsement
3. Elementary Education K-6
4. ESOL Endorsement
I have been working in education since 2001 when I started subbing as a teacher’s aides as I worked my way through college while raising two kids of my own.
I owned, directed, and taught in my own preschool/daycare facility. I sold my business in 2016 because I missed doing what I truly love, and that’s teaching!
I started teaching high school ASL in a brick and mortar school in 2021. I feel like I’ve truly found my place in the world.
I am Hard of Hearing and part of the Deaf community.
I like to have positive energy in the classroom and in life. I believe that everyone can have fun and learn at the same time.
Outside of the classroom I enjoy learning new things (like crafts, knitting, or a new language) singing loudly and badly in my car, and spending time with my husband, our three grown kids, and our animals!
