In this multi-day class math class, students will learn what it takes to be a part of "running" a virtual Pet shelter. At the end of class students can also bring their own pet to class. This class is set up to work on math tasks each time we meet. This class is structured for students to work together as a team, support each other and participate in conversation with peers and teacher. Each class will have printable. Students will improve thie math skills in the following areas: 
Multiplication Skills: basic facts, fact families. Other related math skills: subtraction, addition, time, basic facts, skip-counting

Homework Offered
Prior to class students are encouraged to print their Math tasks that we will work on in class. If we do not finish a math task before the end of class students are able to work on outside of class and bring back to class the following meeting day to review.
