You'll learn lots of the tricks of the trade and will gain confidence in your ability to capture beautiful and meaningful photos of dogs. The content is geared towards those who use a DSLR or advanced mirrorless camera with similar functionality and features. Students will learn how to improve their skills photographing dogs with a DSLR camera and will also learn the basics of editing dog photos.
I was previously the lead photographer for National Mill Dog Rescue, where I photographed dogs that were available for adoption and taught and mentored other photographers. In addition, my dog photography has been featured in Professional Photographer Magazine and my studio's fundraising efforts for the local Humane Society were featured on the local news channel. I've been a professional photographer since 2001 and have a wide range of photography experience, including many years photographing babies, children and pets. I've been teaching photography for over ten years to professional photographers, enthusiasts and teens through group workshops, private lessons and online classes. I'm recognized as a Master Photographer by the Professional Photographers of America and was also awarded the organization's Photographic Craftsman degree in recognition of my work teaching other professional photographers.
