Amos Fayette is a highly experienced violinist, educator, and entrepreneur. He has studied at top conservatories such as The Juilliard School and Peabody Conservatory and has performed as a soloist and concertmaster with various orchestras. Amos is equally dedicated to education, having taught in many settings from public schools to private studios. His students have gone on to study at renowned institutions. Amos has also published a collection of practice methods. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family, exploring culinary options, and reading about motorsports.

Homework Offered
I require my students to practice 6 days per week ideally, 5 at the minimum.  The length of time depends on their level.  For beginners, I typically require 30 minutes per day, 5-6 days per week.  For intermediate, I will usually require a range of 45 minutes to 90 minutes.  Advanced can run the gamut from an hour to 4 hours if they're truly conservatory bound.

As far as specific homework assignments, students will always have a scale assignment, an etude/method book assignment, if not two or three, and a repertoire assignment.  Depending on their level, these areas may include more or less material, but it will always fall into these three categories.
