This is an ongoing, one-on-one, reading tutoring class that will focus on your child's learning needs and help them gain confidence in their reading abilities.
Class Experience
US Grade Kindergarten - 2
This is a 1:1 tutoring class designed to help give your child a boost in their reading skills. Some of the areas we will focus on include: phonics skills, sight words, reading fluency, spelling, comprehension, and more. Each class will be tailored to the needs of your child. Parents are encouraged to provide input through the Outschool messaging center. To ensure effective tutoring, the teacher suggests meeting 2x per week. Book additional recurring meetings after the initial purchase.This class is taught in English.
- Students will work on areas suggested by a their parent and/or teacher. Students will practice and review phonics/reading skills.
Please have your student bring a piece of paper and a pencil, or a whiteboard and marker to class.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
I will be using Canva.com to create lesson slides. We will occasionally be reading books and doing worksheets from the website www.readingA-Z.com.
