Personalized, 1-on-1 Tutoring in Chemistry, Biology & Physics with Dr. Ashley

**This specific class listing and cost is for one 50-minute session that meets once weekly for four weeks.

In this class, I will work 1-on-1 with your child to help them feel confident in the sciences. Whether the goal is to ace a test or make the next big discovery, I'm here! Together, we will work through questions and difficult concepts together. I will help answer questions, give examples, and provide further resources. My goal is for your child to leave our sessions feeling confident in their abilities. 

Depending on the particular topic, our session will consist of slides, discussion, videos, games, and quizzes. Anything that will help your child learn the most effectively! Upon enrollment, please feel free to send me a message letting me know how your child best learns so I can customize this class further. 

***Guidelines, Expectations & Other Important Notes***

1. Parents and/or students should reach out to me 24 hours prior to the start of our class with the topics/concepts/questions the student is wanting to address in our session. This can be as general as the topic or concept such as "cell division" or "chemical reactions." It can also be as specific as "please cover these examples ___." The more information that you can provide the better! Providing me with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice gives me time to gather materials, prepare examples and additional resources. I appreciate your understanding and cooperation! 

2. Parents and students, please message me to request a meeting time! You can check my availability calendar to get a general idea of my available times. If you don't see a time that works for you, also message me and we can possibly find a time that works! 

3. This class is personalized so that means we can meet once, once weekly, or anything in between. It is completely up to you and your child to decide what is most beneficial! I offer 50-minute and 1.5-hour sessions. The particular class listing and cost is for a once-weekly 50-minute session for four weeks.

4. Be on time! In order to get the most out of our short 50-minutes together, please arrive to class on time. I do understand that life happens, so if you are running more than 10 minutes late to class, please send me a message.

5. If your learner is not present in the classroom after 10 minutes and I have not received a message notifying me that they are running late, I will exit the class. Please send me a message if you would like to reschedule. In general, I cannot stay later to make up for the lost class time.
