I have taught professionally for five years in public schools but have worked for more than ten years in tutoring, mentoring, and educating students. Every year of my professional teaching, we have done this unit as a way to prepare for the school year, introduce ourselves, and as college preparation. I also teach vignettes which is a type of personal narrative on Outschool!
Students might need to complete work outside of class as we work on individual skills. During this time, feedback from the teacher will be available!
Students will complete a personal narrative. This will meet all requirements of a narrative and the elements of one.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
