Description
Class Experience
Learners will learn how important it is to manage money to meet all their bills. The learner should be motivated to continue education to have a career that can provide a comfortable life for their family.
Learners will have budget worksheets to complete as part of the overall project. The sheets needed for that day will be uploaded prior to each class for the learner to print. They will also have receipts to create and records to keep- all provided by the teacher.
Learners should have a reliable printer to print out all the worksheets and handouts provided in the packet that will be posted daily. Poster board will be needed for the Life's Vision board. Some type of folder should be purchased or made to hold the actual project packet. Pencils/pens/scissors/markers/glue/crayons will be needed to complete the worksheets and create Life's Vision Board. A calculator will be a big help for calculating monthy expenses.
The teacher will work and monitor the learner's progress and provide ongoing feedback and assistance. The learners will be given the opportunity to share their budget projects and Life's Vision Board with the class.
2 hours 15 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
