This Camp will assimilate real life budgeting and allow the learner to get a better idea of maintaining a budget as an adult. The learner will create a budget project that will be guided by the teacher using daily discussions. The learner must keep track of their income and expenses and balance their budget. Homework Offered
Learners will have budget worksheets to complete as part of the overall project. The sheets needed for that day will be uploaded prior to each class for the learner to print. They will also have receipts to create and records to keep- all provided by the teacher.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
The teacher will work and monitor the learner's progress and provide ongoing feedback and assistance. The learners will be given the opportunity to share their budget projects and Life's Vision Board with the class.Grades Offered
Learners should have a reliable printer to print out all the worksheets and handouts provided in the packet that will be posted daily. Poster board will be needed for the Life's Vision board. Some type of folder should be purchased or made to hold the actual project packet. Pencils/pens/scissors/markers/glue/crayons will be needed to complete the worksheets and create Life's Vision Board. A calculator will be a big help for calculating monthy expenses.
