In this innovative self-paced class, learners will be introduced to the real-world scenarios of managing finances and making informed decisions. The course is designed to simulate the experience of adult life, where students will engage in practical exercises like paying credit card bills, handling mortgage or rent payments, shopping for a new car, applying for loans, and finding suitable insurance. This hands-on approach provides an invaluable opportunity to acquire financial literacy and life management skills in a controlled and supportive environment. Week 1 - Insurance Basics
Learners will understand different types of insurance. Through a case study analysis, they will determine appropriate insurance coverage for different scenarios and calculate premiums.

Week 2 - Financial Planning for College
Learners will plan for college expenses. They will research different funding sources, including scholarships and student loans, and create a financial plan for hypothetical college scenarios.

Week 3 - Career Considerations
Learners will investigate potential career options using a variety of metrics: Personal skills, passions, hobbies, interests, financial situation of the job, potential growth or decline of specific job industries, and more!

Week 4 - Loan Basics - Home and Auto
Students will learn about the loan process, including interest rates and repayment terms. They will participate in a loan application simulation, evaluating different loan offers for scenarios like car purchase.
