In this Personal Finance for Teens class, students will learn essential skills for managing their finances and making informed decisions for their future. The course will cover a variety of topics, including budgeting, saving, investing, and credit management. Students will learn how to track their expenses, set financial goals, and prioritize their needs versus their wants. They will also explore different types of investments, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and real estate. Throughout the class, students will engage in interactive activities, such as budgeting simulations, research projects, and investment tracking. The teaching style will be both informative and entertaining, with a focus on using relatable language and humor to engage students. The course is structured to allow for plenty of interaction between the teacher and the students, as well as among the students themselves. No prior experience or knowledge is required, making this class accessible to all teens looking to improve their financial literacy.
