In this 5-week course, students will learn the basics of money management including budgeting, credit, debit, savings, taxes, and investments. During the course, learners work through interactive real-world examples to reinforce concepts.
Class experience
In this FLEX course, there is no live instruction. The material will be posted weekly and you can view it during the week at your convenience. All weekly coursework will be due at the end of the week - Sunday. Learners will get practice learning about money management through a simulation through real-world experiences. Learners will learn the basics of money management including budgeting, credit, debit, savings, and investments; all concepts will be reinforced through interactive...
This class is taught in American Sign Language.
By the end of the course, students will actively participate in a simulation teaching them how to set goals, budget, and manage their own money. The class is very interactive (in the Outschool classroom) so it encourages learner participation and questions.
The teacher is a certified teacher and has taught this specific topic in her gifted education courses for over 3 years.
Homework Offered
Homework will be a combination of chat discussions and answering questions. The teacher will always reply to your submissions with feedback. All weekly course work will be due at the end of the week - Sunday.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
