In this 4-week, flexible course, students will learn age-appropriate budgeting skills that will set them up for financial success.
It is important to teach Financial Literacy early in life. In this class, your student will learn important, age-appropriate budgeting skills that will enhance his/her financial literacy acumen now and set a knowledge base for future financial literacy classes. The activities used in the weekly lessons to teach these skills encourage research and critical thinking. I have several hours of professional development in the curriculum for this course through Next Gen Personal Finance. I have a degree in Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing Management. I am also a Master of Business Administration graduate student. Lastly, I am a mom that homeschools.
0Student activity packets will be provided through Outschool classroom. It would be helpful for your student to keep an electronic or physical portfolio of notes/work for this class.
