Class Experience

US Grade 2 - 5
Beginner - Advanced Level
In this 30-minute ongoing class, learners will have the opportunity to practice problem solving skills to solve puzzles, brainteasers, and riddles.  There will be a variety of puzzles, such as rebus, word play, and riddles.  

Learners will try to solve each puzzle in a supportive and encouraging environment.  Puzzles will be provided for learners to see as I read them aloud.  We will discuss intended answers as well as challenge learners to find alternative answers.  I am here to give tips, tricks, and strategies to become a better puzzle solver. 

Learners can choose to attend as many classes as they wish.  Puzzles will vary each week.

Learning Goals

Learners will practice critical thinking skills.
Learners will practice communication skills.

As a mother of an amazingly autistic teen, I understand and strongly believe that all learners need to feel safe and comfortable. Before class, if there is anything I should know that would help your learner succeed, please let me know!
Supply List
Learners are welcome to bring paper and pencil to class, if they wish to use that to solve the puzzles.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
