Perler Bead Craft Creations & Social Time: Minecraft Favorites With Friends Pt.1
Class experience
In this class we will be creating art from Perler melting beads, talking about Minecraft, and making new friends. The teacher will provide patterns for the artwork. While using a two camera system, students will view the workspace as they model the teacher's design while also seeing a traditional teaching camera set up. One square design peg board Parchment paper Iron Clear working space Perler Tweezers (Optional) Suggested Perler bead colors: Black Purple Red White Orange Peach Yellow Gray If your learners tend to be wiggly or move often you may want to tape the design plate down onto a tray. Grown-ups can iron their creations at the end or after class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students will need to have an adult to use the hot iron towards the end of the class. Parents, please use a medium heat setting for the iron along with the paper protector that was included in any perler bead set or parchment paper. Do not leave child unattended with the hot iron.
