Class Experience

Explore the "superpowers" of the periodic table with this fun, interactive class! Learn about the elements of the periodic table, then design your own superhero based on the element of your choice. Will your character be radioactive? Life-giving? Perhaps metallic, electric, or magnetic? The universe is the limit!

This experience is perfect for learners who love art, comics, and science, and would enjoy designing a brand new superhero with "element powers". No previous knowledge of chemistry or the periodic table is necessary to enjoy this class.

Students will be provided with examples of completed superhero characters to provide inspiration, but will leave class with a unique new character - and a new appreciation for chemistry!
