US Grade 6 - 9
In this one time class students will learn how and why the periodic table was put together, characteristics of different elements, and the different categories of elements. Students will be learning by color coding their own periodic table as well as taking a few notes. Students will want to have a little background knowledge of atoms. Students will want to have the provided periodic table printed for class along with something to color with either crayons, colored pencils, or markers. Students will be evaluated based on their completed periodic table.

Supply List
A note page and a periodic table will be provided. Students should have red, orange, yellow, blue, green, purple, and pink coloring utensils.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
