In this single course, the students will be reviewed of the calculations of perimeter and area.

The students will be taught or reminded what perimeter and area mean, mathematically. They will go through exercises to check their understanding as well as challenge themselves in some real-life scenarios of calculating both and applying both. I try to have a fun and upbeat classroom by using a slideshow as well as snippets of videos to keep them engaged and focused. I will also play a game to check their understanding if it is possible. I am a teacher and I want them to be confident and comfortable with these skills. *For one of the games, a separate device might be required. If you are using a laptop or Chromebook it should be fine. Hellosmart.com is a site they may visit if time allows but I would like to continue to keep them on Zoom until the class is over. An alternative, they can split their screen using the two windows.
