Class Experience

Students will learn to perform (act, sing and dance) full musical theater numbers by the end of class!
I graduated with a BFA from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts in 2010 with an emphasis on musical theater performance through the CAP21 Studios. After performing regionally, I helped to launch a youth theater company that serves the NYC metro area where I have taught and helped to oversee full-scale productions, classes and camps for the past 8 years.
Students will be encouraged to practice what they learn between classes whenever possible. Rehearsal resources will be provided through classroom posts.
Students should wear comfortable clothes and shoes they can easily move in. Students will need some open floor space to learn choreography and perform in.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
4 hours per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
