In this one time class students will learn how to make a homemade horse treat.
Class experience
In this one time class students will work side by side with the teacher to make homemade horse treats using only 5 ingredients. We will start the class by mixing up our treats. Once our treats are in the oven, the students and I will take turns talking about horses while our treats bake. Students will be using the oven during this class, please assist students as needed for safety. Students will be mixing the ingredients by hand, so will not be using a mixer. I own multiple animals and love making homemade treats for them. My horse, Oakley, is the official taste tester of all horse treats.
Oats Horse grain (pelleted grains do not work well, oats, barley, ect work the best) Flour Molasses Peppermint candies (the round ones like given at restaurants, not the puffy ones) Cookie sheet Parchment paper Mixing bowl Measuring cups
